System stick with enamel container for toothpicks, probably France at the end of the 19th century. The front sides of the enamel knob are painted with fine floral paintings and decorated with gold. The end and hinged section of the brass handle are decorated with beaded edges and a bow on the flap. The handle is attached to a three-stage brass collar and a mahogany shaft with a horn ferrule. Handle length 12 cm, total length 92 cm.
