a telescope cane with two concentric tubes, covered with black leather, England, late 19th century. Below the telescope an engraved brass collar, set with a narrow and a wide, braided leather ring. On the collar engraved "Patent". There is a compass in the screw-off horn knob. The telescope is fitted to a malacca shaft.There are two brass eyelets in the upper area of the shaft. Length of the telescope 21 cm, extended 43 cm, overall length 87 cm.
