Walking cane with curved handle made of porcelain, the end painted in shades of brown with the head of a chamois or goat, Meissen 1730-35 probably J. E. Stadler or Adam Friedrich von Löwenfinck. The end of the handle is painted with chinoiserie figures with tea scenes. The handle is attached to a gold-plated ring and a bamboo shaft with a hanger. Dimensions of the handle: H. 7 cm, W. 6 cm, total length 97 cm.
A comparable stick handle, painted in this way with chinoiserie figures, was sold on September 14th at Sotheby's New York, lot 89.
