Walking cane with a finely carved ivory girl bust surrounded by lilies of the valley, Dieppe, France, mid-19th century. Below the bust a putto with a garland of flowers and an unsigned nameplate with a bouquet of flowers at both ends. The pommel ends in a ring of acanthus leaves and pearls. The handle is attached to a section of light brown grained wood with a brass ferrule. Handle height: 19 cm,
