Number: 120
Walking stick with porcelain handle depicting Joseph Fröhlich lying on a barrel, court jester of Augustus the Strong, Meissen, 19th century.
Joseph Fröhlich was one of the most curious magicians of the 18th century, but as a "temporary counselor" his role at court went far beyond that of a fool. His trademark was the alpine costume with a pointed hat, wide bloomers and his mustache. The handle can be cemented in again if required. Handle dimensions: H. 10 cm, length 11 cm.
